1. Not a Medical Device or Health App
Cry Baby is a general wellness and educational application. Cry Baby is not a medical device, health app, diagnostic tool, clinical instrument, or substitute for professional pediatric care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any medical condition, illness, injury, or disease in infants or children.
Cry Baby has not been reviewed, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any other health regulatory authority. It is not intended for clinical, therapeutic, or medical use of any kind.
2. No Diagnostic or Clinical Claims
The insights, probability scores, and suggestions provided by Cry Baby are based on pattern recognition derived from bio-acoustic and developmental research data. These outputs are informational and educational in nature only. They do not constitute a medical opinion, clinical assessment, or diagnosis of any kind.
Cry Baby cannot and does not detect, identify, or indicate the presence of any medical condition, developmental disorder, respiratory problem, neurological issue, or other health concern. Any resemblance between an app insight and a medical symptom is purely coincidental and should never be treated as medical guidance.
3. Always Consult a Healthcare Professional
Always consult a licensed pediatrician, physician, or qualified healthcare professional for any questions or concerns about your child's health, behavior, development, or wellbeing. Do not delay seeking professional medical advice or disregard professional medical guidance based on anything you read or observe within the Cry Baby app.
In the event of a medical emergency, contact emergency services (e.g., 911 in the US) immediately. Never rely on Cry Baby in an emergency situation.
4. Accuracy Limitations
While Cry Baby leverages multimodal AI and bio-acoustic research to provide insight, no AI system is 100% accurate. Stated accuracy figures (e.g., “up to 92%”) reflect research-based benchmarks under controlled conditions and may differ in real-world use. Environmental noise, lighting conditions, device hardware, and individual variability may all affect results.
Cry Baby's insights are probabilistic in nature and are intended to complement — not replace — your parental judgment and intuition.
5. Intended Use
Cry Baby is intended solely as a general wellness, educational, and parenting support tool for caregivers of infants. It is designed to help parents better observe and understand their baby's behavioral cues — not to replace professional observation, medical monitoring, or clinical evaluation.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cry Baby and its developers, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to any harm, loss, or injury resulting from reliance on app insights or suggestions.
Your use of Cry Baby is entirely at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for all decisions made based on app outputs.
7. Pricing & Refund Policy
All premium subscription plans include a 3-day trial period. No refunds are provided after the trial period has ended. By subscribing to a paid plan, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
8. Changes to This Disclaimer
We reserve the right to update or modify this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of Cry Baby following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised disclaimer.
